About Verdi

Five modules. One project record.

Certification (BREEAM, LEED and NABERS UK), whole life carbon, circular economy, commissioning management and the project user manual — switched on per project, sharing one record, one evidence base and one generated manual.

Key features

The modules, built to the standards

Modern glazed office building assessed under BREEAM

Certification tracker — BREEAM, LEED and NABERS

Built around BREEAM New Construction Version 7, live and registrable since 30 September 2025. New registrations under BREEAM 2018 (v6) closed on 27 January 2026, but projects registered before then run under that scheme for years yet — so Verdi keeps the legacy credit libraries alongside V7 by design. The Version 7 refurbishment technical standards were released on 15 July 2026 as two separate standards — BREEAM Refurbishment V7 (any combination of fabric, structure, core and local services) and BREEAM Fit Out V7 (interior design with optional local services, aimed at occupier-led projects) — replacing the Parts 1–4 model. Registration opening is still to be confirmed, and BRE has said transition plans for RFO and In-Use V7 will be communicated closer to release, so RFO 2014 remains the route you register on today. LEED v5 BD+C and NABERS UK Design for Performance are supported alongside.

  • Version 7 credit library with the revised category weightings and rating benchmarks
  • Refurbishment V7 and Fit Out V7 handled as two distinct standards, not a single RFO route
  • Legacy NC 2018 and RFO 2014 libraries reconciled issue by issue against the manual
  • RFO ‘Parts in scope’ selector for 2014 projects, kept in place through whatever transition BRE announces
  • LEED v5 BD+C (November 2025 edition) as a points-based route, with v4 and v4.1 open for registration until 30 June 2027
  • NABERS UK Design for Performance tracked as the DfP Agreement, Independent Design Review, Stage 4 Simulation Report and Rating Achievement Plan
  • Minimum standards flagged as mandatory at each rating level, so nothing gets traded away by mistake
  • Verdi’s own per-credit requirements: aim, criteria, credit table, evidence by stage and watch-outs
  • Categories always shown in the standard BREEAM order, Management through Pollution
  • AI-assisted evidence review scored against the credit criteria
  • Pre-assessment import that reads your existing report and pre-populates the tracker

Whole life carbon

Module-by-module accounting structured around the RICS Whole Life Carbon Assessment for the Built Environment, 2nd edition, effective 1 July 2024 — from product and construction through use, end of life and beyond the boundary.

  • A1–A5, B1–B7, C1–C4 and Module D captured as a structured tracker
  • NRM elemental breakdown so results line up with the cost plan
  • AI-assisted review of EPDs and calculation evidence for completeness
  • Benchmarking against LETI and RIBA 2030 targets
  • Exportable carbon reports for planning and client review

Circular economy

Pre-demolition audits, Bill of Materials, reuse commitments and post-construction reporting structured around London Plan Policy SI 7 and the GLA Circular Economy Statement Guidance, with BS 8895 used where the design-for-material-efficiency workflow follows it.

  • Eighteen assessment topics from design for disassembly to waste hierarchy
  • Bill of Materials, recycling and waste reporting held in one register
  • Reuse and recovery commitments tracked through to post-construction reporting
  • Reports written for planners, not just for the file

Commissioning management

Structured commissioning management aligned with CIBSE Commissioning Code M and BSRIA BG 8/2009, across every MEP system on the project. The hold-point structure is Verdi's own workflow.

  • Project-stage hold points from design through handover
  • System-by-system commissioning plans and programme dates
  • Witnessing, testing and inspection records
  • Defects, actions and outstanding commissioning items
  • Complete auditable sign-off trail through handover

Project user manual

Create a project and Verdi writes its manual: the schemes in scope, the target rating, the minimum standards that apply and the module guidance for every module switched on — issued as a branded PDF with a cover, contents and your logo.

  • Generated on day one from the modules, schemes and target rating you selected
  • Governance, key steps and who does what set out per module
  • Minimum standards, stage milestones, evidence and watch-outs in one place
  • Branded PDF export you can issue to the project team

Why Verdi is different

WHY VERDI IS DIFFERENT

What we haven’t found is another platform where BREEAM, whole-life carbon, circular economy and commissioning share the same project record, the same evidence, the same team and the same programme.

Modules chosen per project, one record

Pick the modules a project actually needs — certification (BREEAM, LEED and NABERS UK), whole life carbon, circular economy, commissioning and the project user manual — and the workspace shapes itself around them. They still share one project record, so an EPD uploaded for carbon is the same document evidencing a BREEAM Mat credit.

A project user manual, generated on day one

Create a project and Verdi writes a branded manual for it: governance, key steps, who does what, minimum standards, stage milestones, evidence and watch-outs for every module in scope. Exportable as a designed PDF with a cover, contents and your logo.

AI-assisted evidence review, not filename checking

Every upload is read against the actual criteria for that credit, module, topic or hold point, and returned with a view, a score and the specific gap. It supports the assessor's judgement rather than replacing it — nothing is marked complete on faith.

Our own guidance, not a reproduced manual

Every credit, topic and hold point carries Verdi's own plain-English write-up of what is required, what evidence proves it at each stage, and where teams usually trip up — with mandatory minimum standards flagged for the rating you are targeting.

The whole project team, properly invited

Contractors, architects and specialists join with an organisation code. Actions are assigned to a company and a named person, land in their task list, and outstanding items appear automatically in the progress report.

White-labelled by tenant

Every consultancy gets its own workspace with its own logo on screen and on every PDF and spreadsheet that leaves the platform. Your client sees your brand, not ours.

The benefits

What it changes day to day

Hours back on every report

Progress and completion reports build themselves from live tracker data instead of a Friday afternoon spent rebuilding a spreadsheet.

No surprises at assessment

A running score and a visible gap list mean you know in month three whether Excellent is still reachable, not in month eighteen.

Submission-ready output

Branded PDF and Excel exports for progress, gap analysis, evidence registers, witness schedules and completion, formatted for the assessor.

Accountability that sticks

Every action has an owner, a company and a date. Outstanding items follow people into reports rather than quietly disappearing.

Standards we follow

Built around recognised UK industry frameworks

  • BREEAM®

New Construction Version 7 (live since 30 September 2025), with UK NC 2018 retained for projects registered before the 27 January 2026 cut-off. Refurbishment V7 and Fit Out V7 technical standards were released on 15 July 2026, with registration opening and transition arrangements still to be confirmed by BRE — so the RFO 2014 library (SD216 Issue 2.0) stays in place, with Table 6 and Table 7 weightings by Parts in scope, for as long as the transition runs.

  • LEED®

LEED v5 Building Design and Construction: New Construction, November 2025 edition — 16 prerequisites, certification thresholds of 40/50/60/80 on a 100-point basis with 110 points available including bonus points. LEED v4 and v4.1 remain open for registration until 30 June 2027.

  • NABERS UK

Design for Performance, administered by CIBSE since 2 April 2024. Verdi tracks the DfP Agreement (target rating of 4.0 stars or above), the Independent Design Review, and the Stage 4 Simulation Report and Rating Achievement Plan. NABERS UK Energy for Offices is Deemed to Satisfy the operational energy requirements of the UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard v1, giving a verified in-use conformity route.

  • Whole Life Carbon

RICS Whole Life Carbon Assessment for the Built Environment, 2nd Edition (effective 1 July 2024), with NRM elemental reporting and LETI and RIBA 2030 benchmarks

  • Circular Economy

London Plan Policy SI 7 and GLA Circular Economy Statement Guidance, with BS 8895 where the workflow follows it

  • Commissioning

CIBSE Commissioning Code M and BSRIA BG 8/2009 Model Commissioning Plan. The Stage 1–5 hold-point structure is Verdi's own workflow.

  • Building Regulations

These are voluntary certification schemes, a professional standard and one planning policy — not legislation. Part L and the Future Homes and Buildings Standard are the statutory route, and the Part L compliance evidence you already produce (BRUKL output, as-built SAP/SBEM, air tightness and commissioning records) is captured once and reused against the BREEAM Ene credits it supports.
