The serious bit. Please read before using Verdi. In short: we are a tool, not a professional adviser, and the final responsibility for every assessment, score and submission stays with you.
Verdi helps you organise evidence and track progress. It cannot certify your project, guarantee a BREEAM rating, or replace the judgment of qualified professionals. Our AI reviews are suggestions only. By using Verdi you agree that we are not liable for any decisions you make based on the platform or its outputs.
By signing up, logging in, or otherwise using Verdi, you agree to these Terms of Service and to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. When you create an account through the sign-up page, your click to agree is your electronic signature and acceptance of these terms. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes means you accept the new version.
Verdi is a collaboration and document-tracking tool for building services consultants and their project teams. It helps organise BREEAM credits, whole-life carbon data, circular economy evidence and commissioning hold points. It does not replace professional judgment, legal advice, design certification, or the formal assessment services of BREEAM assessors, engineers, or other accredited professionals.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure, for the accuracy of any data you upload, and for ensuring you have the right to share that data with your project team. Verdi is not responsible for verifying the authenticity, completeness or legal status of documents uploaded by users.
Verdi uses artificial intelligence to review evidence and suggest scores, verdicts or gaps. These outputs are provided as an aid only. They do not constitute a formal assessment, certification, or professional opinion. You must independently verify every AI suggestion before relying on it. Verdi accepts no liability for any score, rating, conclusion or report generated by its AI tools.
Verdi does not guarantee that a project will achieve any BREEAM rating, carbon target, planning approval, commissioning sign-off or any other professional outcome. The platform is a management aid; the final quality and compliance of your submission remains entirely your responsibility.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verdi and its operators, directors, employees and suppliers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform, including but not limited to lost profits, lost contracts, reputational harm, assessment failures, or errors in AI-generated content. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory asserted.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Verdi from any claims, damages, losses or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your content, your breach of these terms, or your reliance on AI outputs or platform-generated reports.
Paid features, if any, are billed according to the plan selected at signup. You are responsible for cancelling or changing your subscription before the next billing cycle. No refunds will be given for partial months or unused seats unless expressly required by law.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these terms or used the platform unlawfully. You may close your account at any time. Data retention after closure is described in our Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
For the avoidance of any doubt, no matter how clever the platform appears:
